In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Custer Wildcats volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the South Bison.

With the win, Custer advances its record to 13-1 on the season. The Wildcats host St. Thomas More (Rapid City, SD) to face the Cavaliers in a A Region 8 test on Tuesday, September 16. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 7-3.

The Bison now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheridan for a 4A East test on Friday, September 19. South will play a Broncs squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Central (Cheyenne, WY). The Broncs record now stands at 7-5.
