St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cavaliers (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mahpiya Luta (Pine Ridge, SD). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Mahpiya Luta lost by Brookings (Brookings, SD), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots face the Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD) in a AA District 1 test, on Tuesday, September 16. Douglas will attempt to advance on its 3-12 season record. The Cobblers go into the test with a 9-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Brookings (Brookings, SD).
