Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) and the visiting Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL), observed Dunlap's volleyball team top Richwoods by a count of 2-0.

The Eagles (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Belleville West (Belleville, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Belleville West dropped by Mater Dei (Breese, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Normal Community for a Big Twelve battle on Tuesday, September 16. Richwoods will encounter a Ironmen squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Ironmen record now stands at 8-1.
