Alabama High School Volleyball - Faith Christian over Saks

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Faith Christian Lions (Anniston, AL) and the host Saks Wildcats (Anniston, AL), observed Faith Christian's volleyball team top Saks by a count of 2-0.

The Lions (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Holy Spirit Catholic was knocked off by West Blocton (West Blocton, AL), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Wellborn Panthers (Anniston, AL) in a 3A Area 8 battle, on Monday, September 15. Saks will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 0-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Weaver (Weaver, AL).
