Kansas High School Volleyball - Washington County tips Frankfort

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Washington County Tigers (Washington, KS) and the host Frankfort Wildcats (Frankfort, KS), observed Washington County's volleyball team hold off Frankfort by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Washington County improves its record to 1-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Cair Paravel (Topeka, KS) to encounter the Lions in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 4-3. Cair Paravel lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS)

The Wildcats now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Heights for a Twin Valley battle on Tuesday, September 16. Frankfort will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Riley County (Riley, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-5.
