In Saturday's non-league match, the Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ) volleyball team held off the host Kingman Academy Tigers (Kingman, AZ), by a margin of 1-0.
The Hawks now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Agua Fria for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Gila Ridge will clash with a Owls team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Greenway (Phoenix, AZ). The Owls record now stands at 1-9.
