Iowa City West Trojans (Iowa City, IA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans (12-3) will now prepare for their game against Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Saints go into the Mississippi Valley-Valley game with a 6-6 record.

The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Benton (Van Horne, IA). The Bobcats come into the non-league outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Benton beat H-L-V (Victor, IA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
