Mississippi High School Volleyball - Hernando can't hold off Tupelo

In Saturday's non-league match, the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS), by a count of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Golden Wave clash with the New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 13. Tupelo will attempt to better on its 18-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 17-9 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Caledonia (Caledonia, MS).

With the loss, Hernando drops to 11-11 on the campaign. The Tigers host DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS) to clash with the Jaguars in a Class 7A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 15-7. DeSoto Central won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Southaven (Southaven, MS)
