Houston County Fighting Irish (Erin, TN) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Perry County Vikings (Linden, TN), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Houston County advances its record to 9-6 on the season. The Fighting Irish travel to Scotts Hill (Reagan, TN) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next, the Vikings play the Houston County Fighting Irish (Erin, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Perry County will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the game with a 9-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Fairview (Fairview, TN).
