In Saturday's non-league bout, the South Central Timberwolves (Coldwater, KS) volleyball team held off the host Hugoton Eagles (Hugoton, KS), by a margin of 2-1.
The Timberwolves now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Attica for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 16. South Central will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league win over South Barber (Kiowa, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-1.
Next, the Eagles battle the Cimarron Bluejays (Cimarron, KS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 13. Hugoton will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Bluejays enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Holcomb (Holcomb, KS).
