Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Jackson County Central Huskies (Jackson, MN) and the host St. James Saints (St. James, MN), observed Jackson County Central's volleyball team top St. James by a count of 2-0.

The Huskies (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Windom (Windom, MN). The Eagles go into the Big South - East battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Windom achieved victory over Murray County Central (Slayton, MN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Saints now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Luverne for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. St. James will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Triton (Dodge Center, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-8.
