Indiana High School Volleyball - New Castle tips Jay County

September 13, 2025: New Castle, IN 47362

The New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) volleyball held off the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. New Castle will clash with a Braves team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN). The Braves record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Jay County drops to 9-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN) to clash with the Owls in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 10-1. Muncie Burris won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Wapahani (Selma, IN)
