In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Volunteer Falcons volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Knoxville Trailblazers Trailblazers.

The Falcons (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Blues come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Asheville School (Independent) was nudged by Knoxville Trailblazers (Knoxville, TN), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Trailblazers now own a 26-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grace Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Knoxville Trailblazers will face a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, TN). The Rams record now stands at 9-8.
