In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Laurel Gators volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Western Reserve Academy Pioneers.

The Gators (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mogadore (Mogadore, OH). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Mogadore beat Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pioneers face the Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix (Willoughby, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Western Reserve Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Phoenix go into the test with a 5-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Our Lady of the Elms (Akron, OH).
