The Lewis County Minutemen volleyball squad scored 2 points and limited the visiting Washington Patriots to 0 in the Minutemen non-league victory on Saturday.

Next up, the Minutemen confront the Herbert Hoover Huskies (Elkview, WV) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 13. Lewis County will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 10-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Williamstown (Williamstown, WV).

The Patriots (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV). The Cardinals come into the Eastern Panhandle bout with a 6-7 record. In their last bout, Spring Mills was topped by Hampshire (Romney, WV), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
