The Washington Huskies (Fremont, CA) volleyball defeated the host Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.

The Huskies (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bentley (Lafayette, CA). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Bentley was knocked off by Head-Royce (Oakland, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Matadors battle the Livermore Cowboys (Livermore, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 13. Miramonte will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Cowboys go into the battle with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA).
