The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Plains Zizzers (West Plains, MO) and the visiting Mt. Vernon Mountaineers (Mt. Vernon, MO), witnessed West Plains's volleyball team overcome Mt. Vernon by a tally of 2-0.

The Zizzers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Marshfield (Marshfield, MO). The Bluejays come into the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Marshfield beat Fair Grove (Fair Grove, MO), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mountaineers meet the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats (Rogersville, MO) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Mt. Vernon will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Reeds Spring (Reeds Spring, MO).
