The Toledo Boomers edged the host Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Boomers face the Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 13. Toledo will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Bobcats go into the game with a 3-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Lowell (Lowell, OR).
The Pirates (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Sheridan (Sheridan, OR). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Sheridan was nudged by Damascus Christian (Damascus, OR), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
