In Saturday's league challenge, the host Nodaway Valley Wolverines volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Wayne Falcons.
The Wolverines (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Chariton (Chariton, IA). The Chargers enter the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Chariton beat Wayne (Corydon, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Moulton-Udell Eagles (Moulton, IA) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 15. Wayne will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA).
