The Rockford Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Northwood-Kensett Vikings to 0 in the Warriors league triumph on Saturday.

The Warriors now have a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Janesville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. Rockford will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-3.

The Vikings (1-12) will now prepare for their game against Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA). The Knights go into the Top of Iowa East game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Newman Catholic gained a win over Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA), 2-0, in a league game.
