The Troy Warriors (Fullerton, CA) volleyball held off the host Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they host Villa Park for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 16. Troy will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-8.
The Mariners (6-8) will now prepare for their match against Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Godinez Fundamental was nudged by Fullerton (Fullerton, CA), 3-1, in a league bout.
