Wallace County Wildcats (Sharon Springs, KS) boosters were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Stockton Tigers (Stockton, KS), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Trego (WaKeeney, KS). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Trego beat Russell (Russell, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Oakley Plainsmen (Oakley, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Stockton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a 11-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Hoxie (Hoxie, KS).
