Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Weston-McEwen TigerScots (Athena, OR), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Monarchs now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Crosshill Christian for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Umpqua Valley Christian will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Delphian (Sheridan, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Weston-McEwen drops to 3-4 on the season. The Tigerscots host Heppner (Heppner, OR) to face the Mustangs in a 2A Blue Mountain game on Thursday, September 18. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 12-6. Heppner won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Baker (Baker City, OR)
