In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host West Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Villa Park Spartans.

The Warriors (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Gladiators go into the non-league test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Gahr achieved victory over Lynwood (Lynwood, CA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Villa Park will face a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Downey (Downey, CA). The Bears record now stands at 6-5.
