In Tuesday's league contest, the Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) softball team overwhelmed the host Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), by a margin of 8-0.
With the triumph, Dade County moves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA) to play the Rebels in a AA Region 7 contest on Thursday, September 16. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Fannin County lost 6-2 in their recent league contest against Model (Rome, GA)
In their next game, the Eagles play the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a AA Region 7 contest, on Thursday, September 16. Coosa will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 14-0 league loss to Pepperell (Lindale, GA).
