In Tuesday's league battle, the host Basis Yeti volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Ash Fork Spartans.
The Yeti (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mogollon (Heber, AZ). The Mustangs come into the 1A - Central battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Mogollon achieved victory over McClintock (Tempe, AZ), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Spartans encounter the Seligman Antelopes (Seligman, AZ) in a 1A - Central battle, on Friday, September 17. Ash Fork will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record.
