Nebraska High School Volleyball - Boyd County tips Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]

The Boyd County Spartans (Spencer, NE) volleyball nudged the visiting Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats (Clearwater, NE), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Boyd County upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Spartans host Gregory (Gregory, SD) to face the Gorillas in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 16. The Gorillas go into the outing with a record of 6-1.

The Bobcats now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to O'Neill for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 21. Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
