Illinois High School Volleyball - Coal City over Herscher

In Tuesday's league contest, the Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Coalers face the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight contest, on Tuesday, September 21. Coal City will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record.

With the loss, Herscher moves to 4-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL) to face the Foxes in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 18. The Foxes go into the contest with a record of 12-2. Yorkville lost 2-1 in their recent league contest against Minooka (Minooka, IL)
