The Green River Pirates crushed the host Diamond Ranch Academy Diamondbacks baseball team by a count of 22-4 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they host Valley for a 1A - South bout on Friday, September 16. Green River will face a Buffalos team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Piute (Junction, UT). The Buffalos record now stands at 8-8.

Next, the Diamondbacks face the Pinnacle Panthers (Price, UT) in a 1A - South bout, on Friday, September 16. Diamond Ranch Academy will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 5-9 record after their 18-0 league loss to Wayne (Bicknell, UT).
