Connecticut High School Soccer - Law nudges Shelton

Law Lawmen (Milford, CT) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lawmen confront the Mercy Tigers (Middletown, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 17. Law will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT).

The Gaels now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Amity Regional for a Southern Connecticut - Housatonic challenge on Friday, September 16. Shelton will confront a Spartans team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Mercy (Middletown, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.
