The Hiwassee Dam Eagles volleyball team (Murphy, NC), was dropped 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC)

The Maroon Devils (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Highlands (Highlands, NC). The Highlanders enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Highlands was dropped by Cherokee (Cherokee, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 15. Hiwassee Dam will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record.
