The North Buncombe Black Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Madison Patriots to 1 in the Black Hawks non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Black Hawks now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Enka for a non-league game on Thursday, September 15. North Buncombe will meet a Jets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Jets record now stands at 8-1.

The Patriots (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Avery County (Newland, NC). The Vikings enter the game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Avery County held off Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
