Next, the Cardinals confront the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) in a Northwest 1A challenge, on Monday, September 19. East Wilkes will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Sauras enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 4-1 league loss to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC).

The Buckin' Elks now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Davidson for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 19. Elkin will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 3-5.
