North Carolina High School Soccer - Holmes nudges Northeastern

The Holmes Aces soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Northeastern Eagles to 2 in the Aces league victory on Wednesday.

Next, the Aces face the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, September 20. Holmes will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record.

The Eagles now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech for a non-league contest on Monday, September 19. Northeastern will face a Griffins team coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Griffins record now stands at 2-4.
