In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting North Lenoir Hawks soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Southwest Onslow Stallions.
The Hawks (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Bulldogs come into the East Central 2A battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Wallace-Rose Hill nudged White Oak (Jacksonville, NC), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Stallions (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Kinston (Kinston, NC). The Vikings come into the East Central 2A battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Kinston was nudged by East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 9-0, in a league battle.
