With the triumph, Thomas Jefferson Academy improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA) to clash with the Crusaders in a GIAA 2A game on Tuesday, September 20. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 4-5.

In their next game, the Gators clash with the John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA) in a GIAA 2AAA game, on Thursday, September 15. Bulloch Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 13-5 record after their 8-6 league win over Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA).
