In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Rockmart Yellowjackets softball team scored a close 9-6 win over the Cedartown Bulldogs.

Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA) in a 2A Region 7 bout, on Thursday, September 15. Rockmart will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record.
