Hephzibah Rebels (Hephzibah, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA), 18-3 in a league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenn Hills for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 19. Hephzibah will face a Spartans squad coming off a 41-15 league loss to Butler (Augusta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Academy of Richmond County falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Musketeers travel to Washington County (Sandersville, GA) to face the Golden Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 19. The Golden Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 7-7. Washington County lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA)
