The Long County Blue Tide softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers to 3 in the Blue Tide non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Long County improves its record to 12-4 on the year. The Blue Tide travel to St. Vincent's (Savannah, GA) to clash with the Saints in a non-league game on Thursday, September 15. The Saints come into the game with a record of 2-5. St. Vincent's won 12-2 in their recent league game against Liberty County (Hinesville, GA)

In their next game, the Buccaneers clash with the Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 19. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 3-11 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Islands (Savannah, GA).
