Texas High School Volleyball - Brackenridge Jefferson

The Jefferson Mustangs topped the host Brackenridge Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 6-23 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sam Houston for a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Friday, September 16. Jefferson will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Edison (San Antonio, TX). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-22.

The Eagles (1-15) will now prepare for their test against Lanier (San Antonio, TX). The Voks enter the 5A Region IV District 27 test with a 3-18 record. In their last test, Lanier was knocked off by MacArthur (San Antonio, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
