The Cochranton Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting North East Grape Pickers to 1 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iroquois for a non-league game on Thursday, September 22.

The Grape Pickers (10-1) will now prepare for their game against McDowell (Erie, PA). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, McDowell gained a win over Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
