The Cosby Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Washburn Pirates to 1 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now have a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage Home Scholars for a non-league game on Thursday, September 15. Cosby will confront a Lady Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over First Baptist Academy (Powell, TN). The Lady Eagles record now stands at 12-4.
The Pirates (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Union County (Maynardville, TN). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Union County dropped by Clinton (Clinton, TN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
