The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA) and the host De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA), saw Pinole Valley's volleyball squad beat De Anza by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Pinole Valley upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Swett (Crockett, CA) to play the Warriors in a Tri-County bout on Wednesday, September 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-6.

The Dons now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Vallejo for a Tri-County bout on Monday, September 19. De Anza will play a Red Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 0-6.
