The Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties topped the visiting East Greenwich Avengers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's league test.

The Mounties now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cranston East for a State Championship Division - B test on Tuesday, September 20. Mount St. Charles Academy will confront a Thunderbolts team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 1-2.

The Avengers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams enter the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, La Salle Academy gained a win over Prout (Wakefield, RI), 3-0, in a league test.
