The Patuxent Panthers volleyball team (Lusby, MD), went down 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD)

The Hurricanes (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South River (Edgewater, MD). The Seahawks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, South River defeated Atholton (Columbia, MD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Monday, September 19. Patuxent will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northern (Owings, MD).
