The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) and the visiting Jefferson Grizzlies (Daly City, CA), saw San Mateo's volleyball squad beat Jefferson by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, San Mateo upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Crystal Springs Uplands (Hillsborough, CA) to play the Gryphons in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. The Gryphons go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Crystal Springs Uplands won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Priory (Portola Valley, CA)

The Grizzlies now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host South San Francisco for a Peninsula - Ocean bout on Tuesday, September 20.
