North Carolina High School Football - Olympic drops to South Mecklenburg

September 14, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28210

In Thursday's league game, the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) football team knocked off the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), by a final score of 46-33.

The Sabres (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinal come into the 4A South Meck game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Berry was dropped by Palisades (Charlotte, NC), 38-6, in a league game.

The Trojans now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Olympic will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 48-20 non-league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-1.
