The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) and the host Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA), saw Poly's volleyball squad nip Grant by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Poly upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Parrots host Narbonne (Harbor City, CA) to play the Gauchos in a non-league bout on Friday, September 15. The Gauchos go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

The Lancers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Verdugo Hills for a bout on Monday, September 18. Grant will play a Dons squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Dons record now stands at 6-3.
