In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Timberlake Christian Tornadoes volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots.

The Tornadoes (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA). The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Westover Christian Academy achieved victory over Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Patriots encounter the Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Lynchburg HomeSchool will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
