In Thursday's league battle, the visiting McDowell Trojans soccer squad scored a close 7-0 win over the Erie Royals.
The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Moon Area was overwhelmed by South Fayette (McDonald, PA), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Royals (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Oil City (Oil City, PA). The Oilers go into the District 10 Region 6 battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Oil City was overwhelmed by Clarion Area (Clarion, PA), 9-1, in a non-league battle.
